the Story
Three colours formed the basis for the first three projects, created independently as artistic work. The first. White for "Nagare" was created as part of the Japanese Textile and Craft Festival early in 2020. After that came "the RedThread", exhibited in Stroud in May 2021. The following year saw the emergence of "In The Pink Room", part of SITE Festival by SVA Gallery.

Storytelling through textiles and photography also forms the basis for the SHE_SEES project for Lloyds Register and is currenrly being displayed at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, along with plans for an overseas chapter.

Storytelling through textiles and photography is an original creative concept by Erna Janine (textile creation and concept) and portrait photographer Emilie Sandy.
